Workstation

The Workstation menu is used to access the Settings dialog box.

This dialog box is split into 4 sections. These are Communications, Workstation Identifiers, Workstation Key and

Other.

Communications

Comm Port is the Communications Port used by the application to communicate with the ZoneVu products. This value

can be set to any valid Communications Port for your computer. To modify the communications port follow these

instructions:

1. Change the value in the Comm Port box.

2. Press the Change Port button.

3. If this port is invalid a warning message will be given, in which case a new valid port must be selected.

Otherwise if the port is valid it will be changed successfully.

By pressing the Baud Rate button, the baud rate at which the application communicates may also be changed. This

should only be needed in the instances when communicating with a unit which has been reconfigured to communicate

at another baud rate other than 9600.
